WHO WE ARE

Wags on Wheels was founded five years ago by Aaron and Karen Bouchard out of Caulfield, Missouri — a small town in south central Missouri. What started as a single van and a simple idea — that pets deserve a safer, more personal way to travel than a cargo hold — has grown into a nationwide ground transport company trusted by breeders, rescues, and families in all 48 states.

We've never lost sight of why we started. Every puppy, dog, and cat who rides with Wags on Wheels is treated the way we'd want our own pets treated:
with patience, comfort and genuine care, mile after mile.

Our Story

OWNERS AARON & KAREN BOUCHARD

Aaron and Karen Bouchard of Caulfield, Missouri started Wags on Wheels in 2021 after Covid brought them to the small town in southern Missouri. What started as a single van and a simple idea — that pets deserve a safer, more personal way to travel than a cargo hold — has grown into a nationwide ground transport company trusted by breeders, rescues, and families in all 48 states.

Every puppy, dog, and cat who rides with Wags on Wheels is treated the way they would want their own pets treated: with patience, comfort, and genuine care, mile after mile.

Our Fleet

QUALITY TRANSPORTATION FOR YOUR PETS

What began with one van has grown into a fleet of five Ford Transit vans, each fully air-conditioned and upfitted with custom insulation along with dual temperature controls for both the drivers and our furry passengers. We run a team of nine experienced drivers, running scheduled nationwide routes three times a month, departing on the 4th, 14th, and 24th each month. In 2025, over 3600 pets were transported successfully!
